As part of our Shop-fitting and retail painting we have travelled around the North Island painting many Multi-site National properties. We painted 3 New Worlds in the Coromandel – inside and out, about 30 Audika hearing doctors’ offices, over 10 TANK juice bars, a couple of Ben and Jerrys ice cream parlours, Gong Cha’s, Just Cuts, Kiwibank, Winz offices, Spark stores and many, many more.

WINZ had a small make-over in 2019. Feature walls were added to the waiting areas. Green on white on grey. Sounds like it wouldn’t work – but by it looks fantastic!

Not much to paint at a Tank juice bar, its mostly pre finished joinery – but each time they fit one out – there is a small orange wall which CPL was happy to paint as the Tank empire was in boom mode.

Interior Re-brand Painting

2017-2018 was a boom year for retail construction – we had “Two Double Seven’, “Tauriko”, “Sylvia Park”, “Bay Fair” and all the Westfields that you can think of. CPL painted over 100 shop fit outs including retail stores, food courts, back of house areas and main corridors. Ever wondered who paints the walls above the escalator in a mall? Well, that will be CPL! Everywhere we went to work – there was a Spark store. These stores are open, inviting and have a fantastic colour scheme – none better that Spark Halo 277 Broadway. With its huge black ceiling covered in plant life to its concrete look walls with pink back-lit LED signage.

During the Summer of 2018 CPL was asked “would you like to paint 3 major supermarkets inside and out in the Coromandel?” who would say no right? Of course CPL said yes. We jumped on the Book-A-Bach website and took up lodgings in Waihi, Whanagmata and Whitianga for 3 months. Half the team moved down the line for the time we were there, the other half came and went as we needed them with the larger parts of the job. Painting a supermarket is no easy task, but painting 3 at the same time – now thats where the expertise and superior project management of CPL was required. We had teams going all over the North Island at nights and weekends picking up keys, collecting materials and repainting all the interior and exterior surfaces of the clinics.
